Participation in recreational, corporate and charity golf outings is one of golf's largest participation segments and each year in Canada, more than 37,000 charity events at Canadian golf courses help to raise more than $533 million for worthwhile causes. Golf Canada’s promotional partnership with TournamentCaddie is an endorsement of a platform that makes it easier for event organizers to maximize their event’s potential.
“The recreational and charity golf sector represents a huge component of golf participation in Canada,” said Golf Canada CEO Laurence Applebaum. “TournamentCaddie offers user-friendly platform with relevant features that we believe offers strong value to the committed golf event organizers who are driving charitable benefit through golf to communities across Canada.”

“TournamentCaddie is dedicated to supporting the thousands of event organizers that volunteer their time to raise money for worthwhile causes,” said TournamentCaddie CEO Donal Byrne. “Our platform isn't a traditional tournament management system in that we don’t focus on scoring, leaderboards or other competitive event features.
